CLASS SCHEDULE

Monday:

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm – Foundation Saber, age 12 and under

6:00 pm to 7:00 pm –Introduction to Fencing (by appointment. New adults welcomed!)

7:00 pm to 8:30++ pm – Competitive Saber
Intermediate Level Classes require personal fencing gear (jacket, glove, plastron, chest shield, electric weapon, mask, lame, cords, knickers strongly recommended) — email if questions or special circumstances.

7:00 pm to 8:30++ pm – Competitive Epee

Tuesday:

7:00 pm to 8:30 pm – Intermediate Saber

Intermediate Level Classes have electric fencing option, which requires personal fencing gear (jacket, glove, plastron, chest shield, electric weapon, mask, lame, cords, knickers strongly recommended) — email if questions or special circumstances. High-Level Beginner fencers also invited (beginners can borrow gear).

Thursday:

10am to 1130 am– HOMESCHOOL FENCING CLASS
For home school fencers (K-12), Beginners welcomed!

11:30am to 12:00+ pm – Open Floor– Open Bout for Intermediate and up Saber Fencers

NOTE: Intermediate Level and Competitive Level Members are invited to Open Bout — This is open time to fence with others on your own–not coach-led class time. Must have gear and know how to use it.

ARE YOU IN COLLEGE? DO YOU WANT TO FENCE?! Come fence with us while you are home on break. Fencers who are in college and have a rating (A-E), can join our classes/bouting at no charge. Discount for new and unrated fencers who are in college. Email us for details. Especially looking for more Epee fencers!

Current Membership Pricing

Membership prices are per month (not per class). Ask about family discounts! Membership includes two classes per week.

Standard Membership
$200/ month ( includes 2 classes per week)

Classes and tuition are based on skill level. Two classes per week are included in regular monthly tuition of $200. (For kids under 8 or special circumstances, email info@triplethreatfencing.com about classes and pricing.) Membership is required to attend Open Bout Sessions (fencers at intermediate level or above) or to take Private Lessons with the coaches.

Homeschool Membership
$140/monthly session (Thursday mornings)

****We now offer a Homeschool Fencing Membership!! Our Homeschool program is on Thursday mornings for $140/ per monthly session. Homeschool members at intermediate level (ask your coach!!!) and above are invited to Open Bout sessions. Homeschool members may take Private Lessons with the coaches. Please note class levels and equipment requirements: New fencers should focus on classes noted as the Foundational Classes. These classes cover fundamental fencing skills to build the foundation for more advanced classes and competition. Remember–Open Bout Session is for self-sufficient (no coaching or assistance) Intermediate & Competition Level Fencers (personal gear, including sword and electric). If you’re not sure your level, just ask your coach!

Long pants are required for all fencing classes for safety. NO SHORTS.

All fencers are encouraged to get their own gear as soon as possible. Beginner fencers may borrow gear for class for the first month. After a few weeks, Recreational AND Competitive Track Fencers should have their own gear. To move to intermediate classes, fencers must have all the gear as noted above. Intermediate Classes use the electric scoring equipment for bouting practice. Competition fencers should have full practice and electric gear. There is a charge for borrowing gear for extended periods. But email info@triplethreatfencing.com if you have questions or special circumstances.

About scheduling the trial class–We will have you meet with a coach to try out fencing and talk to you about options. To help us plan this for your fencer to try, email us and include the fencer’s age, any prior experience, and any friends/family who fence. Any other information you think we should know. Fencing is a life long sport– new adults are welcomed! Email us.

Plan to fence at the trial evaluation– so wear clean gym shoes and long pants!
